This is an experience-based guide, not professional advice. The HardenMac Playbook and toolkit were written by an independent developer who survived a real macOS infostealer infection. The author is not a credentialed security professional, attorney, or financial advisor, and nothing here is professional security, legal, or financial advice.
No guarantee of protection. The practices in this product are designed to reduce attack surface and raise the bar against common threats. They cannot prevent all attacks or guarantee that your Mac, accounts, credentials, or assets are safe. Threats evolve; no guide makes any system “unhackable.” You use this material at your own risk.
No warranty. This product is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author’s total liability for any claim arising from this product is limited to the amount you paid for it. The author is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss, financial loss, or compromise.
Your responsibility. You are responsible for your own systems, backups, and decisions. When money, crypto, or sensitive data is at risk, consult a qualified professional.
Third-party tools. Tools referenced (for example Little Snitch, LuLu, the Objective-See suite, 1Password) are linked, not bundled, and are governed by their own licenses and terms. HardenMac is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
Product. A digital product (guide, toolkit files, and tracker) delivered electronically. No physical goods are shipped.
License. You receive a single-user, personal-use license. You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publish the contents. Configs and scripts may be used and modified on systems you own or operate.
Delivery. Access and download are provided immediately after successful payment, via the receipt/download link from our payment provider.
Updates. Your purchase includes future updates to the version you bought; re-download from your receipt link. “Lifetime updates” means for the commercially reasonable life of the product, not a perpetual obligation.
Payment & tax. Payment is processed by a third-party provider acting as merchant of record, which collects and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT.
Acceptable use. This material is for defending systems you own or are authorized to manage. Do not use it to facilitate unauthorized access.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
14-day money-back guarantee. If the playbook isn’t useful to you, email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase for a full refund — no hassle. Because this is a digital product you keep, refunds may be declined in cases of clear abuse (for example, bulk download-and-refund).
Refunds are processed by our payment provider. Statutory consumer-protection rights, where they apply, are unaffected by this policy.
If you join the email list, we collect your email address (via Formspree) to send the free checklist and occasional product updates. We don’t sell your data, and you can unsubscribe any time.
